Doing Time

I had dinner with my friends, Marion and Sarah, last week. Marion said she had once known a couple who had been traveling around for 2 or 3 years.

They said they insisted on NOT staying in hotels while traveling and one of their frequent alternatives was to stay in empty jail cells.

They would go to the local sheriff's office in a town and ask if there were any vacant cells they could sleep in.

Apparently this was often a successful way to urban camp.
